Once again illegal Driving Instructors  are teaching pupils but not authorised to do so by the Driving Standard Agency. This type of Instructor has not only committed a serious offence but has placed the life of a learner driver and the public in grave danger.

Please spare a few moments to click on the link below to the BBC programme " The One Show " - the feature shows the Police and officials apprehending an Instructor who was teaching illegally. It makes compelling viewing. Then ask yourself the following questions :

What do I know about my Driving Instructor ?

Has he/she passed the relevant exams to teach learners ?

Have they passed the required Criminal Record Check ?

Are they registered with the Driving Standards Agency ?

Helen Varey - Manchester

All Instructors are tested regularly by the Driving Standards Agency to ensure a minimum standard. Helens recent examination saw her achieve grade 6 yet again , the highest grade possible for a Driving Instructor. The examiner was later heard to comment what an astonishing lesson Helen had taught and thoroughly deserved the accolade of being amongst the elite.
